Wuyishan City (Chinese: 武夷山市) is a county-level city which is located in the municipal region of Nanping City, in the northwest of Fujian province, People's Republic of China. Wuyi Mountains are a mountain range located at the prefecture Nanping, at the northern border of Fujian province with Jiangxi province, China. The mountains cover an area of 60 km2. Dahongpao Tea or Big Red Robe, is an aromatic Chinese Oolong Tea with a coffee-like, roasted flavor and a sweet and fruity aftertaste. Wuyishan Airport has cleared the scheduled flight to: Fuzhou, Xiamen, Shanghai,Shenzhen, Shantou, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Wuhan, Xi'an, Jinjiang, Wenzhou, Hong Kong.
The Wuyishan train station has cleared the Mount Wuyi Fuzhou, Xiamen, Quanzhou.
Wuyishan city has the intercity bus separately to go and return in Jiangxi the bonus (120 kilometers) and the Fujian Shaowu (90 kilometers).

When to go?
Wuyishan City is located at the southern slop of Wuyi Mountain Range, it has a subtropical Monsoon climate with plentiful rainfall all year round, which makes the area an important rice and tea producer of the country. The best time to visit Wuyishan is April-November.
