Zhenwu Pavilion is located in the scenic area of Rongzhou Ancient City,Yulin City of Guangxi Province. It is also known as one of the “Four Famous Buildings in Jiangnan” with the Yellow Crane Tower, Yueyang Tower and Tengwang Pavilion.
Zhenwu Pavilion was built in the first year of the Emperor Wanli (1573) during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Here, the underground Jingluo Terrace was built in 759,the second year of Tang Dynasty (618-907). The stunning structure of the arch, the simple and elegant decoration, the buildings that have survived many earthquakes and squalls, which make it all exude the wisdom and splendor of ancient Chinese architecture.
Zhenwu Pavilion is a completely wooden structure. The entire building has three floors, which is 13 meters high and nearly 20 meters high. The most amazing convenience of Zhenwu Pavilion is the golden pillar suspended on the second floor of the attic. Both the golden pillar and the eaves are like the ends of the balance, which are connected by the masts to reach balance, so that the attic can not stand, fully reflecting the ancients. The application of the "leverage principle" can not help but be screamed.
