No.2: Wudang Mounatin in Shiyan
Located in southwest of Danjiangkou City， Wudang Mountain， also known as Taihe Mountain， is both a famous scenic spot and a holy site of Taoism， China’s indigenous religion. It has served as the birthplace of Taoism since Tang Dynasty， so it has a large amount of well-preserved Taoist buildings.
Construction of the Ancient Building Complex started in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). During the reign of Emperor Taizong , the Five Dragon Ancestral Temple was built on Wudang Mountain. In the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), about 33 palaces and structures including the Yuxu Palace, the Grand Purple Cloud Palace, the Yuzhen Palace and the Palace of Harmony were built. Then the grand and magnificent building complex was formed.
The temples of the complex feature the architecture characteristics of Yuan， Ming and Qing Dynasties. Besides， as it contains buildings from as early as the 7th century， it represents the highest standards of Chinese art and architecture over a period of nearly 1，000 years. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994.
No.3: The Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan
The Yellow Crane Tower was built on the Snake Hill in the south bank of Yangtse River,Wuhan City, about 1,800 years ago. It is one of the famous ancient towers in south of China's Yangtse River ( the other tow buildings are Yueyang Tower and Tengwang Pavillion). An ancient poem named "The Yellow Crane Tower" was written by Cui Hao, and many Chinese can recite it. The original building of the Yellow Crane Tower was destroyed ages ago, and other buildings were built on the original spot and also destroyed. Some sources say that the last wooden building was built in the late 1800s.
No.4: The Three Gorges Dam in Yichang

No.5: Jingzhou Ancient City in Jingzhou
Jingzhou City,also called Jiangling City in ancient times, is located in central China’s Hubei Province. It was the capital of Chu in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty (770BC–221BC) in Chinese history.
Jingzhou Ancient City Wall, one of the best preserved ones in China, is just located in Jingzhou District of this city with long history. In fact, the whole ancient city wall is composed of three parts, namely the outermost water city wall, the in-between brick city wall and the innermost earth city wall. The extant brick city wall has a circumference of around 11 kilometers and a height of 9 meters. With most of which reconstructed during Ming Dynasty (1368AD–1644AD) and Qing Dynasty (1644AD–1911AD), the ancient city wall was listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit by Chinese government in 1996.
According to some record, the construction of Jingzhou Ancient City Wall can be dated back to the Western Zhou Dynasty (1046BC–771BC), though it has not been testified, an archaeological discovery in 1998 indicated that the brick ancient city wall had initially been built at least in The Five Dynasties (907AD–960AD)
No.6: Longzhong Scnic Zone in Xiangyang
Longzhong Scenic Zone is a famous scenic spot in Xiangyang City.The scenic spot includes Longzhong Mountain, Leshan Mountain, Daqi Mountain and Xiaoqi Mountain and affiliated valleys. Covering an area of 4.6 square miles, this beautiful land boasts waves of grain, dainty hills, clear waters and rich cultural relics. Zhuge Liang once lived as a hermit here for ten years. Many relics are left recording his life. For example, Zhuge Cottage is said to be the place where Liu Bei (the emperor of Shu Kingdom) paid three visits to Zhuge Liang. Sangu Tang (Three Visits Hall) is the memorial hall to record these three sincere visits.
Shennongjia Forestry District, also known as Shennongjia Forest Zone, is located in western Hubei Province shares its border with Chongqing Municipality in the west and Baokang County of Hubei Province in the east. With an area of 3,253 square kilometers (about 803,833 acres), Shennongjia contains four towns, four villages, one national forest park and one national natural reserve area. Because of its marvelous natural scenery, rare foliages, endangered animals and famous legends such as the mysterious "Wild Man" (Chinese Yeti) said to be found in the mountains, the forest zone has attracted many tourists every year, amongst them researchers and scientists.
Shennongjia was named after a very famous Chinese chief in prehistoric time, Shennong, also known as Yandi.Covering a total area of 25,000 Square kilometers, Shennongding Scenic Area features its green plants,crystal streams,and wild animals. It contains of some classic sightseeings,such as the little Dragon Pool,the Golden Monkey Range,Shennong Peak,Shennong Canyon, the Vocation Platform,the Wooden-Like Crock,and the Taizi Velley.
No.8: Xianling Mausoleum of Ming Dynasty in Jingmen
Located in Chunde Mountain， 7.5 kilometers north of Zhongxiang County， Xianling Mausoleum was the mausoleum of Zhu Youyuan and his wife， the parents of Emperor Shizong of the Ming Dynasty （1368-1644）. It was built in fourteenth year of Zhengde Reign （1519） and was completed in 1540. Covering an area of 183.13 hectares， it is surrounded by red walls 6 meters high and 1.8 meters in width. On both sides of the passageway there are various kinds of animals， including lions， elephants， unicorns and sitting and standing horses. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Xianling Mausoleum is the joint mausoleum built by of the Emperor Jiajing for his parents - the Emperor Gong Ruixian and the Empress Zhangsheng during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Covering an area of 183 hectares, it is a magnificent ancient architectural complex which looks dazzlingly splendid in glittery golden and green.
No.9: Hubei Provincial Museum in Wuhan
Located in Wuchang District of Wuhan City， it is the only provincial comprehensive museum in the province. Covering an area of 49，611 square meters， it houses over 200，000 historical and cultural relics， including pottery， porcelains， jade， bronze， and ancient musical instruments， of which nearly 1，000 are listed as first-class relics of China. The Chime Bells Exhibition Hall contains two parts： the Exhibition Hall and the Music Hall， which is the largest ancient instrument exhibition hall in China.

Bianzhong Exhibition Hall has a collection of the cultural relics unearthed from a grave of Yi (a king in Zhanguo Period, 476 BC-221 BC), and you can also appreciate the Bianzhong performance here.
No.10: The East Lake in Wuhan
The East Lake,located in east of Wuhan City, is the largest city lake in China. The East Lake Scenic Area has a total area of covers 82 square kilometers, of which the water area is 33 square kilometers. The East Lake of Wuhan is bigger than the West Lake which is 6,5 square kilometers in Hangzhou City.With beautiful scenery,a large number of tourists visit the East Lake Park everyday.
East Lake has beautiful mountains and rivers, and unique and charming landscapes. The East Lake scenic area can be divided into five parts.
