Ganzhou Ancient City Wall


Ganzhou Ancient City Wall, located in Zhanggong District of Ganzhou City,  is one of the countless well-preserved brick walls in the Northern Song Dynasty(907-1227).Founded in the Han Dynasty, it has a history of 2,000 years. 
 
The tall and majestic walls of the city are well preserved.  The existing four gates of Jianchun Gate, Yongjin Gate, North City Gate and Eight-Mirror Tower are linked together with a 3.6 kilometer long wall. The ancient pontoon bridge in Yongjin Gate is well preserved and the scenic spots are free of charge.

Ganzhou Ancient City Wall was very strong and magnificent. It retained the historical atmosphere of the ancient time and embodied the hard work and lofty wisdom of the ancient people. 
 
Ganzhou Ancient City Wall is about two or three stories high. It's very spectacular. The scenery seen above is also good. Not many people come and go for a walk. It's worth visiting.
 
Ganzhou Ancient City Wall has formed a classic contrast between its high and low levels and the beautiful rivers. 
Walking in the early morning on the quaint wall, you can see a river flowing outside the city, and you can see the green mountains in the distance. It feels like you are in a beautiful picture of along the river during the Qingming Festival.

Ganzhou Song City Wall is one of the countless well-preserved brick walls in the Northern Song Dynasty. Founded in the Han Dynasty, it has a history of 2,000 years. Later, through the Southern Song Dynasty, Yuan Dynasty, Ming Dynasty, Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, it lasted more than 900 years to continuously repair and reinforce. The existing four gates of Jianchunmen, Yongjin Gate, Beimen Gate and Bajingtai are linked together, with a 3.6 kilometer long wall. The ancient pontoon bridge in Yongjin Gate is well preserved and the scenic spots are free of charge.
