Biluochun Tea


Biluochun Tea is produced in Dongting Mountain beside Tai Lake of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. As one of  top ten famous teas in China, it is famous both in China and foreign countries for its beauty, color, fragrance, and flavor. It is a treasure of Chinese famous tea.

Dongting Mountain is connected to Tai Lake where the floating mists and moist air is extremely suitable for the growth of tea trees. Tea trees are interlaced with fruit trees such as peaches, plums, apricots, plums, oranges, pomegranates and others. Lines of green tea bushes and a shade of umbrella-like fruit trees grow in an orderly manner. Tea trees and fruit tree branches are intermingled with interlinked roots. Tea trees soaked in the fragrance of fruits, and the taste of tea scented with flower, the natural quality of Pilochum is so cultivated among floral fragrance and taste of fruits.

The process of harvest and making of Biluochun is very strict. It is harvested in early April every year. The harvested buds and leaves must be carefully sorted, and stir-fried on the very day of harvest. The frying process is a technological activity requiring sufficient patience and rich experiences. Only each process from fixing, rolling, rolling mass and tipping, to drying must be strictly controlled that a peaceful and lasting tea fragrance can be exposed.

The qualified Biluochun finished tea is compact in appearance, with delicate slender bands, tender twists, and elegant fragrance. Its soup is green and clear, and the leaves on the bottom are soft and smooth. The sweet after taste is unforgettable. In April, it is the best time for tasting new tea.
