The high-altitude bungee jumping experience project of
Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge has completed the final technical test, and it will be opened to the public on December 15th,2020.
After its completion in 2016, the
Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge has become the first choice for high-altitude experience tourism in
China. Since its opening, the glass bridge has received more than 10 million Chinese and foreign tourists. The high-altitude bungee jumping platform that came into being with the glass bridge entered people's sight as early as 2012. However, the specific parameter information of bungee jumping has not been disclosed to the public, and only a little bit was disclosed to the public until today.
According to reports, in the middle of the glass bridge of the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, there is a steel structure bungee jumping platform that can accommodate 30 people at the same time.With 4 jump points, this platform is about 300 meters away from the bottom of Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Since the opening of the glass bridge in 2016, the high-altitude bungee jumping experience project has been intensively prepared. The deputy managers in charge of the construction unit of the scenic spot has inspected the famous Macau Tower bungee jumping and the Swiss Verzasca dam bungee jumping many times, and they once invited international top bungee jumping operation team to come to Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge for research. During the period, in different environments, they organized multiple bungee jumping tests on dummy, collecting all-round safety and technical data.
After opening to the public, the bungee jumping project will become the commercial bungee jumping with the largest vertical drop in the world. Free falling in the 300-meter high mountains and valleys, bouncing and falling repeatedly, jumpers can experience the thrill and excitement that make them heartbeat and scream.
