Longji Tea


Longji Tea is mainly produced in Yunwu Mountain around Longji Scenic Area in Longsheng County of Guilin City.As one of the 28 famous teas in China, it was known as early as the Emperor  Qianlong Period in the Qing Dynasty(1645-1911).And it was praisesed as the native fragrant tea to be served by the Qing Dynasty imperial court.

Longji tea grows in the Longji Terraced Scenic Area of Guilin, Guangxi. The altitude of the tea garden is more than 800 meters. It belongs to the subtropical monsoon region. It is affected by the alternating warm and cold air. The environment is the ideal place to form alpine cloud mist tea.
 
Although the output of Longji Tea is not high in history, it is famous for its unique products formed by its rare cloud and mist, moisturizing crystal spring, and fresh air. Longji Tea contains a variety of trace elements required by the human body and is known for its " clear fragrance, fresh taste, green color and beautiful shape".

Longji tea is made with traditional crafts. It has the unique color, aroma and taste of longji tea, contains amino acids, caffeine, alkaloids and other trace elements that are beneficial to human health. It is a valuable natural tea, 

On July 22, 2015, the former Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China approved the registration and protection of national agricultural geographical indications for "Longji Tea".
