At this time, various flowers around the Slender West Lake are blooming with a riot of color, especially the pure white Wild Chinese Viburnum. In this season, Yangzhou portrays a sunny and vigorous image of a water city. However, during September and October, the pretty lakes are enveloped in the light mist and clouds, showing different style of scenery.

How to get to Yangzhou ?
The city of Yangzhou has its own airport, Yangzhou Taizhou Airport, which is located at Dinggou Town, Jiangdu District , 30km away from the city center area. Currently, it seves flights daily to over 10 large cities in China, including Beijing, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Shenyang, Xi'an, Guangzhou, Kunming, Sanya, Harbin and Chengdu. Visitors can also fly into Nanjing Lukou International Airport and then take the daily bus (about 1.5 hours) to get to this city. Traveling by train is an attractive option for visitors entering or leaving the city. Yangzhou Railway Station, located at Wenchang West Road, has direct services to many major cities in China such as Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Hankou. Probably the most important transport facilities in the city are the long-distance buses and expressways. Passengers can easily get wherever they want within the city, as well as neighboring cities, by long-distance bus.
