Founded in 2015, The International Medical Department of Xiangya Hospital is committed to providing world-class medical services for foreigners patients with high-end medical needs. With 36 beds, it has outpatient, internal medicine ward and comprehensive surgical ward.

The medical staff are the key members selected from all clinical departments of the Xiangya Hospital by comprehensive assessment. Each bed in the ward is equipped with 3 nurses, which can fully guarantee the development of quality nursing services. The living facilities of the International Department are also equipped with reference to international standards. Apple computers, iPads, televisions, and even kitchens, living rooms, and so on are all provided.

The International Department of Xiangya Hospital implements a full-scheduled outpatient clinic. Patients only need to make an appointment one week in advance, and they can designate an expert in the international medical department or recommend a specialist by a nurse.

For all patients admitted to the hospital, the International Medical Department is equipped with a dedicated medical manager who is responsible for making appointments to complete the patient's various inspections, surgery, payment, ordering and other non-medical services.

Xiangya Hospital
Xiangya Hospital, is a large Class-A Grade-3 (top level in China) general hospital, which is under direct supervision of the National Health Commission of China and affiliated to Central South University (CSU).

Located in the ancient city of Changsha, Xiangya Hospital was founded by the Yale-China Association in 1906 as Yali Hospital and is one of the oldest hospitals in China practicing western medicine. In 1914, Hunan Yuqun Society and Yale-China Association jointly established Xiangya Medical College (the predecessor of Xiangya School of Medicine, CSU), and Yali Hospital was then renamed Xiangya Hospital.
