Authorizated by Fenghuang County Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, the Fenghuang Miao Silver Ornament Forging Skills Training Center was established in June 2011. It is the first and only intangible cultural heritage training center in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture.

Here, children from poor ethnic minority areas are selected as apprentices. It has been regularly carried out to cultivate skills transfers for training projects such as the smelting, forging, wire drawing, wire rolling, lotus flower, carving, modeling, inlaying and other craft courses in the Miao silver forging skills.

They are proud that the famous singer, Song Zuying,  once wore a complete suite of Miao's silver jewelry and stood in the Golden Hall of Vienna to sing. It is verified here that the more ethnic is the more of the world.
