Qingtianhe Scenic Spot


Qingtianhe Scenic Area, famous for the beautiful Qingtian River,  is located in Bo'ai County, northwest of Jiaozuo City, Henan Province. It is a national AAAAA-level tourist area and one of the most attractive top ten scenic spots in Henan Province. It is known as the northern China's  " Three Gorges” and “Guilin Landscape”.

What to see?
Qingtian River is a dynamic landscape gallery wgich twists and turns like a pot of bonsai with the aura of the mountains and rivers, as well as the essence of the world.
Daquan Lake, a must-see sight-seeing in the Qingtianhe Scenic Area, is 7.5-kilometer formed by the Sangu Spring. Sangu Spring has a water output of 7 cubic meters per second and a hole diameter of 2.18 meters. It is praised as the first spring of China.
In the Sangu Spring and the Daquan Lake, the blue waves are rippling, charming and graceful.  Water follows the mountain and turns back thousands of times. The wild ducks follow and pass over the water. Taking the boat in the lake is joyful, you will move in different scenery just like traveling in the middle of the painting where you will be freed from the pressure of life to get the most leisurely and relaxing leisure.
Qingtianhe Scenic Spot, with the area of 45.2 km2,consists of three major scenic spots, the first Qingtian River, the second Dan River Gorge and the third Yeshan Temple. It is a geopark garden, dominated by gorges and water body, with the distinctive feature of peculiar springs and odd mountain streams, with the connotation of long-time historical culture, and provides a spot for visitors relaxing, spending holiday, going sight, and learning popular science knowledge. Qingtian River embodies a plane landscape, the water body is clear and the mountain is beautiful, so people call it “Qingtian River”. Daquan Lake has the good reputation as “Three Gorges in North” and “Guilin Mountain and Water”. In Bozhu Garden, the bamboos reach to the sky very tall. In Jinjia Ridge, the red leaves are dazzling sight. Yueshan Temple is the cradle of “Tai Chi.”
