Laojieling Scenic Area, composed of the Lover Valley, Fairy Valley, Sun and Moon Valley and the main peak of Laojieling, is the core of Funiu Mountain world geological park. There are boundless mountains and vast areas of vegetation varying with the seasons. Travelers can enjoy famous spots, like the first mountain in the Central Plains Jijiaojian, Funiu Mountain God status who brings you safety, Juchi Mountain, Camel Mountain, sunrise in Jieling Mountain, sea of clouds, the cableway and the summer mountain resort.

Laojieling Ski Park, covering 3.5 square kilometers, lies in the central area of Funian Mountain world geological park. This ski park is a large famous wetland park with an altitude of between 1400-1800 meters.This park, with well-protected vegetation and landscapes, provides good views, such as salix gordejeviis in spring and rich faddish entertainment programs in other seasons.

Laojieling Scenic Area has been given names such as "China's most popular travel destination", "China's best tourist resort" and "World's best travel destination".
