This small-sized airport lies in Yingshui Town, Shapotou District, Zhongwei City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It is about 9 kilometers  northwest from downtown Zhongwei and 15 kilometers  from Shapotou Scenic Spot. There is one terminal for domestic flights where you can find restaurants, massage armchairs and convenient stores.

Shapotou Scenic Spot from Zhongwei Airport
1. Take airport shuttle bus line 7 at Zhongwei Shapotou Airport; get off at Municipal Hospital; transfer to city bus line 2 at Municipal Hospital; get off at Shapotou Stop and then walk about 400 meters to Shapotou Scenic Spot. This method will take you about 1 hour and 50 minutes in total.
2. If you go to Shapotou Scenic Spot by taxi, it can take you about 35 minutes and cost around CNY 40.
