Yuhuang Pavilion


Yuhuang Pavilion, also called Jade Emperor Pavilion, is located in the county town of Pingluo in Shizuishan City. This historical relic, built in the Ming Dynasty, (1368-1644) and renewed in 1875 during the Qing Dynasty(1644-1911), is the largest Taoist site in Ningxia. In the site, an annual grand temple fair is held each year. 

Sitting north to sout, this magnificent ancient building complex covers an area of 4,200 square meters, with 105 meters long from north to south,  40 meters long from east to west.

The building includes Chenghuang Hall, Guanyin Hall, Niangniang Hall, Sanqing Hall, Sanmu Hall, Jade Emperor Hall, Dongbin Hall, Wenchang Pavilion, Guandi Pavilion, Wuliang Hall, etc. With the unique shape and magnificent scale, the pavilions is full of traditional Chinese characteristics.
