Taichung Railway Station (referred to as "Taichung Station") is the most important transportation hub in Taichung, and it is also the first stop for many tourists to come to Taichung! Here you can take trains, passenger transport, etc. to Changhua, Nantou and other areas.

Taichung Railway Station was built and opened to traffic in 1906. The current railway station was rebuilt in 1917. It has a strong Renaissance Baroque building with a gable design in the center and a roof made of bronze pieces. It is the most beautiful and complete railway station in Taiwan.

At the same time, Taichung Station is also very ornamental. It is a second-class monument in Taiwan. It is a Baroque style building imitating the Western Renaissance post station built during the Japanese colonial period. The central roof is gabled, and it is decorated with gorgeous medals and uses colors. The thick white stone washing ring surrounds the red brick surface, and the color and shape are very matched.
