Zhangjiajie-Sangzhi Highway


Zhangjiajie-Sangzhi Highway,also Zhangsang Expressway, is 47 kilometers long, which starts from Hongjiaguan Township of Sangzhi County to the west urban of Zhangjiajie City. 

Operated to public traffic in 2017, Zhangsang Highway passes through the suburb of Sangzhi County and finally reaches the west of Zhangjiajie City. It connects Zhangjiajie to Huayu Expressway. There are 36 bridges and 6 tunnels in the whole line.

Zhangjiajie Lishui River Bridge (澧水大桥) is a suspension bridge near downtown Zhangjiajie, in the Hunan Province of China. The bridge spans 856 meters over the Lishui River gorge between the Yongding District and the Yongshun County. The bridge is part of an extension of the G5513 Changsha–Zhangjiajie Expressway to Huayuan that cut the 8 hour travel time between Zhangjiajie and Chongqing in half. With 330 m of clearance above the river the bridge is one of the world's highest bridges

After operated to public traffic, it take only 1 hour's driving from downtown Zhangjiajie to visit Maoyan River, Jiutian Cave ond Hongjiaguan Town, hometown of Marshel He Long.
