Liye Wulongshan Scenic Area


Liye Wulongshan Scenic Area is located in Longshan County, northwest of Xiangxi Tujia & Miao Minorities Autonomous Prefecture,South Center China's Hunan Province. It was listed as the national 5A-calss scenic area in March,2017.

Liye Ancient Town
Located in Longshan County, Liye Ancient Town is well known for its discovery of 37,400 bamboo slips inscribed with scripts from the Qing Dynasty (221 BC-207 BC) in 2002.


 
Bamianshan Mountain
Located in south of Longshan County, Bamian Mountain is bordered with Chongqing City's Youyang and Xiushan Counties to west. With over 50 square kilometers, Bamian Mountain has its major peak with 1,414 meters above the sea level.

Wulongshan Grand Canyon
It's 35 km away from downtown Longshan County.Covered a total area of 41 square km,Wulongshan Grand Canyon is famous for karst caves which is praised as the World's Karst Caves Museum".
Xichehe Scenic Spot
Xichehe is a Tujiang Ethnic Town in Longshan County. Divided by a crystal stream ---Xiche river, the town boast some stilted houses standing on both sides the river. The Scenic area laso includes the three Tujia Ancient Villages,such as Laochehe Tujia Village,  Rebala Tujia Village, and Liangjiazhai  Tujia Village. It is famous for the world's longest wind-rain bridge.The Laoche Reba wind-rain bridge, so named because it shelters people from the wind and rain, spans 288.8 meters, 41.1 meters longer than the previous record holder, the roofed Longjin Bridge by Dong ethnic minority in Zhijiang of the same province.The architecture consists of corridors and pavilions. Wooden boards line the corridor and both sides are inlaid with railings. Flying eaves and painted beams also add a touch of unique ethnic flavor.The bridge has become a hotspot for tourism and it drew crowds from both home and abroad to experience the life of the Tujia people.
Luota Gepark
Around 46 km away from Longshan County, Luota Gepark is famous for karst stones which covers a area of 142 square km.And it is also home of Tujia and Miao Ethnic Groups.
