Zhangzhou puppet head carving
Zhangzhou puppet head carving is a special workmanship of props used in puppet shows. It is one of the folk arts and crafts mainly spread over Fujian Province. Zhangzhou puppet carving, which originated in the Jin Dynasty and flourished in the Tang Dynasty, has enjoyed a history of nearly 2,000 years. Zhangzhou puppets feature precise molds, refined carving and delicate drawing in colors, preserving the painting style of the Tang and Song Dynasties. The puppets catch the disposition of different characters perfectly through appropriate exaggerations, a local feature.

Nanyin Opera
Nanyin, dubbed "a living fossil of music", is one of the four oldest forms of Chinese music preserved in its original state.  Asian regions.Nanying Opera consists of three parts: zhitao, dapu and sanqu. It can be performed in two forms: tanchang (singing while playing a musical instrument) and qingchang (singing without playing a musical instrument). It also preserves the ancient tradition of lineups for performances in the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220). Various folk music instruments are used in nanyin, including pipa, dongxiao, erxian, sanxian, pin (qudi), nan'ai, paiban, xiangzhan, sibao, goujiao, muyu and shuangling.

Shoushan stone
Shoushan stone is a kind of alabaster quarried from a mountain called Shoushan in the northern suburbs of Fuzhou. This craft is prevalent in the Jin'an area of Fuzhou, capital city of Fujian Province on China's east coast. With a soft, smooth surface and various colors, Shoushan stone is an ideal material for carving and for that purpose is known as "the top grade-colored stone." It is characterized by a soft smoothness and exquisite cohesion.

Fujian lacquer painting

In the 1960s, artists applied the decoration skills for bodiless lacquerware to flat surfaces, creating a new kind of painting – lacquer painting. This handicraft, with strong ethnical and local style, features attributes of both painting and carving.
Min Opera
Min Opera, also called Fuzhou Opera, is the only opera sung in the Fuzhou dialect. It reached its peak after the 1911 Revolution. It is popular in Fuzhou and central, eastern and northern Fujian, where the Fuzhou dialect is spoken. It is also popular in Taiwan and the Malay Archipelago. There are more than 1,000 Min Opera plays, most of which originated from folk tales, historical novels and ancient legends such as 'Making Seals', 'The Purple Jade Hairpin' and 'Switching Fairy Peach with Litchi'.

As the lacquer species of the most distinctive Qing lacquer features, Fuzhou bodiless lacquerware considered one of the "Three Chinese Handicraft Treasures". Fuzhou bodiless lacquerware is firm and light, unique and elegant, with magnificent and bright color and luster. Exquisitely decorated, burly and durable, it is unbreakable and colorfast, and its paint will not come off.
