Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport (IATA: XMN; ICAO: ZSAM) is the main international airport serving Xiamen in Fujian Province, China.

Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport is located in the northeastern tip of Xiamen Island, 13 kilometers away from Xiamen city center. It is sited in the heart of Golden Triangle of Southern Fujian and across the sea with Taiwan. The airport faces the sea in three sides, so it gets a beautiful environment and favorable flying conditions. Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport flight zone grades 4E level. It can meet the requirement of taking off and landing of large aircrafts such as the Boeing 747-400.

Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, also called Xiamen Airport, is officially put into use on October 22, 1983. The construction of Xiamen Airport only took a year and nine months. It is not only the first self-financed airport by the local in China, but also the first airport that use foreign loans to build. It is the only airport in Xiamen, Fujian Province. The passenger throughput of Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport ranked eleventh in the country in 2010.

 Xiamen 3-day Visa-free Policy
Since 1st April, 2015, Xiamen has carried out a 3-day visa-free policy for foreign travelers from 51 countries. Travelers are allowed to stay for 3 days without a visa on international transit via Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport. Tunnel No.2 is the special gate for visa-free transit travelers in the international arrival hall of the Xiamen Gaoqi international airport.
At present (updated to 13th spetember,2017), the 51 visa-free countries are Austria, Belgium, Czech, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Holland, Luxemburg, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, Britain, Ireland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Australia Leah, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Brunei, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
