Plan you Yinchuan Travel ? Yinchuan has a temperate continental climate, lacking in rainfall but with plenty of sunshine. The notable climate feature is windy, dry and sandy, which requires travelers to drink lots of water. It is exposed to the most solar radiation and sunshine in the whole country, so you had better take your sun-block, sunglasses and hat. As the city is close to the Yellow River, there are good sources of canal water.

The average annual temperature is about 9ºC The temperature difference between day and night is quite large, nearly about 15ºC so warm clothes are indispensable in this city.

The spring weather is warm and the summer is short here. Late spring and early summer is a golden time for traveling, and the Flower Festival (May to June) is also held during this time. The rainy weather mainly occur during June and September. 

The best time to visit is from May to October. The International Yellow River Art Festival of Yinchuan is held in September. The thing to be remembered is to pack both spring and autumn clothes at this time. Winter clothes are needed in October.
