A Strip of Sky, or 一线天 (yi xian tian) in Chinese, also known as West Heaven Gate (西天门 "xi tian men" in Chinese),  is located at the entrance of the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon,Cili County of Zhangjiajie City.

A Strip of Sky is a narrow valley through which only one person can pass at a time. The valley is over 700 meters long with a drop of 300 meters from the beginning to the end. 

The attraction of "A Strip of Sky" is like  a door opened in the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, and everyone is welcome to come. However, it is so narrow taht gives visitors the opportunity to close experience and touch the cliff's at a distance. Here,  you can get close to contact with the magical landscape of Zhangjiajie.

After passing through the valley, you will see Sky Ladder Plank Road. This road is very steep and the planks are narrow, making it look like a sky ladder. Walking along it for three minutes, you can come to the best place to see the entire ‘A Strip of Sky’. From the position where "A Strip Sky" is located, you go down to the bottom of the canyon.
